Friday Photo: The Everglades, in Black and White

Clyde Butcher has been photographing wilderness areas in black and white film for more than 40 years. Ken Burns referred to his artwork as “a national treasure.” One look at his oversized prints of the Everglades and you can see why. More than 30 of these works, including Seven Cabbage Cut Cover, shown above, are now on display at the G2 Gallery in Venice, California, through February 19 as part of theVisions of America exhibition curated by Jolene Hanson.
